- 문화인류학적 관점에서 본 한국과 중국의 검무에 관한 비교 -
문화인류학의 의미는 문화를 배경으로 무용 내러티브를 설정하고 그 가치를 평가하는 것이다. 이 연구에서는 문화인류학적 통찰을 방법론적 모델로 사용하여, 한국과 중국 검무의 역사 관련 연구를 분류하고 분석하였다. 한·중 검무의 역사를 문헌 고찰한 결과, 양국의 검무의 역사적 배경은 모두 상고시대에 기원을 두었으며, 사냥, 전쟁과 제사 등 인류의 본능으로 시작되었다는 사실을 발견하였다. 한국에 현존하고 있는 전통무용은 고대의 전통무용과는 차이가 있지만, 대부분 역사적 기록에 근거하여 그 형태를 잘 보존하고 있다. 반면 한국과 같은 문화 맥을 가지고 있는 중국의 검무는 역사성이 이미 사라진 상태이며, 현 시대에 따라 새롭게 창작된 신검무 의 형태를 보이고 있음을 확인하였다. 이에 중국의 검무는 현재의 혁신을 유지하면서 중국 검무의 역사성을 보 존하기 위한 방안을 마련하여야 할 것이다.
A Comparative Study of Korean Sword Dance and Chinese Sword Dance from the perspective of Cultural Anthropology
The purpose of this research is to explore potential directions of developing Chinese sword dance education. This study classified and analyzed sword dance histories of Korean and Chinese dance by the method of literature examination. The development of the sword dance is based on Korean and Chinese traditional culture (dance), which becomes scenic and creative through continuous transmission and innovation. It is believed that Korean sword dance has existed since ancient times, which was used to express joy after hunting by humans. s a result of reviewing the histories of Chinese and Korean sword dances, we found that the historical backgrounds of the two nations' origins were based on the behaviors in ancient times and began with human instincts such as hunting, war and sacrifice. Korean traditional dances are more innovative than the ancient traditional ones, but most of them still hold off the historical literature and dance forms. On the other hand, for China, which has the similar culture as Korea, the historical senses of sword dance have disappeared and new sword swords are created based on the present times.
