The purpose of this study is to explore the role of change perception and popular culture through street dance experience with the keyword soft power. To achieve this research objective, we attempted to analyze the participant interviews of university students majoring in literature and musicals, selecting qualitative research methods for street dance, cultural experience, and new discoveries of soft power. The results of the study showed: First, improving the enjoyment of expressing autonomy, creative expression, and individuality through street dance experience. Second, promoting confidence through new perception of soft power based on street dance's cultural specificity. Third, experience and spontaneous participation of street dance. Fourth, it was shown to suggest the possibility of street dance from a soft power perspective. In conclusion, the change in perception through the street dance experience of musical major students is thought to have been more evident through the interaction of soft power and street dance, as individual expression improvement and culture of Hallyu phenomenon.
